Dripsy review

9.0/10

The War on Ice Hoodie leans hard into Hockey's graphic instincts — bold name, clean black execution. The unisex cut reads skate-adjacent without costume, and black keeps the graphic from fighting everything else in the outfit. This piece has held shelf space at five boutiques, including Fucking Awesome, for twenty straight months — stores do not reorder what does not move. Currently marked down from $88.

Good: Black colorway pairs with anything · Twenty months of proven demand · Stocked across five independent boutiques

Trade-offs: Premium price for a hoodie · Niche skate-brand limits broader appeal

About Hockey

Hockey Skateboards was launched in 2015 by pro skaters Jason Dill and Anthony Van Engelen as a sister brand to Fucking Awesome, with filmmaker Benny Magliano providing the brand's gritty, surreal visual identity. The team-driven deck and apparel label quickly built a cult following with riders including Andrew Allen, Ben Kadow, and Donovon Piscopo.
